Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT is a high-performance digital SLR with 8.0 Megapixel CMOS Sensor and DIGIC II Image Processor.
The smallest and lightest EOS Digital SLR as of its February 2005 release, Canon Digital Rebel XT delivers fast 3 frames-per-second shooting with a 14 frame burst and 0.2 second startup time.
This Canon EOS digital SLR offers high-speed, Wide-area 7-point AF with superimposed focusing points.
Canon Digital Rebel XT provides user-selectable metering patterns, AF modes, custom functions and flash exposure compensation.
Direct Print support with PictBridge compatible printers.
USB 2.0 Hi-Speed interface for quick downloads.
Compatible with a host of separately purchased Canon AF EF and EF-S mount lenses and most Canon EOS System accessories including EX-series Speedlites and a dedicated Battery Grip.
Canon Digital Rebel XT has a focal length conversion factor of 1.6x, meaning an 18-55mm lens acts as the equivalent to a 28.8-88mm lens in 35mm film format.
